A great evening was had at the online launch of The Scottish Centre for Geopoetics latest journal issue 'Stravaig 16'. It was a joy to host the event with poets, essay writers and artists sharing their work and process, as well as hearing from the journal editors and Norrie Bissell, the Centre's Director.
I also had a poem included in the issue. Stravaig 16 is available free, online here.
Many thanks to Helen Ivory for publishing on Ink, Sweat and Tears, my poem:
Gone Lawn have published 2 of my inheritance prose poems 'At the edge of the mist', and 'What's a pond?' in their 'Worm Moon 2025 ' issue. Many thanks to Owen. A bit of background about Gone Lawn:
Full House Literary, with Leia at the helm, is back from hiatus, and I am pleased to have a poem inside issue 1, 2025. 'Treason' is part of a domestic/nature series of poems. (Alongside 'marital favours' recently published by The Broken Spine, see previous post below). It's a great issue, read online here.
Coming soon! Wed 22 Jan is launch day for 'Hinterland' from The Winged Moon, available from Amazon and online.
A final publication of 2024, many thanks to Richard from Paragraph Planet, for publishing my 75 word micro fiction.
Atrium Poetry, and the lovely Claire and Holly have published my poem 'Instructions for coming home'. This poem started at a workshop with Roz Goddard and Jess Mookherjee (who is now my very patient mentor) at a gorgeous Poetry Spa day run by Nine Arches Press.
Black Iris Poetry is running a 'Poets of Breaking News' feature on Instagram. My poem 'Presidential Election Day' was featured, alongside poems about Gaza, climate crisis and civil rights. Many thanks to Sarah and Lauren for publishing.
Delighted to have a poem published by Atrium this month, a publication on my wish list! A seasonal throw back.
