Many thanks to The Nuthatch for publishing my poem '6.25am' in their 'Moments' mini issue, which is downloadable here. It really is a mini issue, with 5 poems inside!
'Whether good, bad, triumphant, uncomfortable or just so—it’s moments that shape our lives. So much of our everyday existence merges into one routine blur, but occasionally, something breaks through and germinates in the brain banks for a lifetime.
Flecks of laughter on a frosty afternoon, gut-punching times of shared agony, epiphanes that prompt understanding, achievements hard won, unexplainable natural illusions, pissing yourselves with friends so much it feels like you’ve gained abs, the fleeting beat of a butterfly’s wings…the list goes on.
All we have are moments. And in these moments, we are more alive than we’ve ever been.
These five select poems encapsulate very contrasting but equally impactful MOMENTS. Enjoy.'
