Marcelle trained and practiced as an Architect in London, Portsmouth, and Cardiff. Her interest lies in placemaking and community-driven developments. Her experience includes working within the private and public sector - within the historic environment, schools, and housing. She has facilitated and delivered complex schemes, through all RIBA work stages, with multiple stakeholders including Trusts, Governors, Councillors, CADW, and the National Lottery.

Marcelle has professional architectural writing experience working on bid documents and strategies, brief building & feasibility studies, planning applications and supporting statements, blogs, essays, and synopsizes.

Working as a visiting tutor at the Welsh School of Architecture, where she qualified, Marcelle combines essay & writing craft workhops, and tutoring analysing architecture, and the critics approach, for the BSc Building Through Time and Architecture In Context modules. She also marks the Masters in Architecture dissertations.
